Swinging the Safe Way

Posted on Friday, 6th November, 2009 by admin

A lot of people who enjoy swinging as part of their lives know that there are plenty sexual activities involved in swinging. With the issue of sexually transmitted diseases, or STD’s, becoming more sensitive, it is essentially important to practice safe sex whenever you are swinging. Most members of the swinging community know this, but you will still find one or two swingers who refuse to use simple prevention methods such as condoms to prevent STD’s.

Whenever you are approaching a swinging opportunity, be clear that you will not engage sexual activities unless you are sure it is completely safe and protected. There is nothing wrong with asking your playmates or other swinging couples about their sexual health as long as you do it politely. They will appreciate your concern and will openly explain to you matters that you need to hear. You should use the same approach whenever someone asks you about your sexual health before swinging.

Safe sex practice is a must. There are medications that you can take to prevent STD’s, but the use of condoms will substantially decrease the risk so you must use one when swinging. Some of you may not be comfortable with the use of condoms — it is OK not to use them as long as all parties involved are comfortable with the decision — but STD prevention methods must still be taken. With proper care to your sexual health, you will be able to swing safely and enjoy the lifestyle to the fullest.
